Pamela Coopwood is founder and President of The Planned Event, LLC, a woman-owned small business that specializes in training domestic and international business protocol and etiquette. Using interactive classroom and lecture techniques, participants are challenged to rethink how and why they respond to social stimulus and whether the proper response is one of protocol, etiquette or manners. Pamela is certified by The Protocol School of Washington® as a Protocol Officer. She holds a Master degree in Event Management and Destination Tourism from George Washington University, a Bachelor of Science from Spelman College, and a Certificate of International Management from the Thunderbird Garvin School of International Leadership. As owner of The Planned Event, Pamela trains business professionals and executives to know, understand and execute Business Protocols and thereby exhibit a Professional Presence. A humorous and energetic speaker, her interactive workshops brim with passion and insight. Her ambition is to make the world polite, one person at a time!
